Veterinary Specialty & Emergency Care is a new free-standing veterinary hospital located on a 3-acre site. Sustainable features included in this high-efficiency building include:

  • Energy-efficient lighting with occupancy sensors
  • High-efficiency heating and cooling
  • Air-to-air heat recovery
  • Natural prairie
  • Construction waste recycling target of 50% or greater
  • Energy modeling and building commissioning

This project has been filed with the United States Green Building Council for LEED certification.
