Keva Sports Center in Middleton opened its doors in the fall of 1999. Milan Vuosevic and The Renschler Company designed this new year-round indoor sports facility with two regulation soccer fields, two in-line hockey rinks, two basketball courts, and three volleyball courts. The Renschler Company also constructed the sports center.
Due to a limited budget, the goal was to create an open space and eliminate decorative elements. The concept was to be innovative with the structure, metal panels, shapes, colors and lighting.
This project was featured as a “Metal Building of the Year” project in Metal Construction News in 2000, and in the April 2002 recreation issue of Metal Architecture.
