Construction of a new manufacturing addition, to the north end of Alkar’s existing facility, was completed in August 2000. This project included a 21,600 square foot slab-on-grade addition with two 20-ton cranes. Alkar exports one third of its business to over 20 countries worldwide. They are the leading manufacturer of cooking and chilling equipment for the meat and poultry industry.
