GREEN SITE
The bank building is constructed on a
previously-developed site within the city limits.

Mass transit is readily available. A bus
stop sits just outside the front door.

800 tons of pre-existing pavement were recycled to make the new parking lot.

A rain garden was added to absorb
rainwater generated on site. Once the
rain garden is established, the site will
be essentially zero-discharge to the
lakes. This rain garden will retain water
and cleanse contaminants from the
cars, absorbing them into the plant root systems.

A white roof was added to reduce the
heat island effect.

All external light fixtures are full cutoff
fixtures designed to preserve dark
skies and improve overall energy efficiency.
