Experience

We consider it our responsibility to help business owners make informed decisions on where to invest or save their capital expenditure dollars. The Renschler Company process will provide owners with alternates throughout a design/build construction project to allow them to prioritize where their building dollars are invested without compromising the architect’s design intent. Types of building construction that The Renschler Company is experienced with include:

Conventional Construction
The structural components of the building are constructed of bar joist and steel under this traditional method of construction. This is the most expensive type of building construction, yet the buildings often look better and last longer.

Wood-Framed Construction
Construction in which exterior walls, bearing walls and partitions, floor and roof construction, and their supports are made of wood. Wood-frame buildings do not age as well or last as long as conventional construction, but they are less expensive.

Pre-Engineered Metal Building Construction
Pre-engineered metal buildings, also called steel systems construction, save (on average 10 to 13%) on-site materials and labor costs. The Renschler Company is an authorized VP Buildings dealer.

Tilt-Up Concrete Construction
Site cast silt-up construction is a method of construction in which wall sections of concrete are formed and poured on site and then tilted into position. Tilt-up wall panels offer flexibility to pour larger panels and may save on erection time. The shell of a tilt-up building can be completed within 6 to 8 weeks once the floor slab is poured. Another benefit of tilt-up construction is that the mass of the concrete reduces peak heating and cooling costs and saves energy.

Pre-Cast Concrete Construction
Pre-cast concrete panels are poured in a factory setting where there is more control over the quality and detailing of the end project; however, panel sizes, longer lead times, and freight charges may be factors affecting the project.
